Snow Cave

Pretty sure Matt is the most awesome dad.
He is so fun and playful with Luke. He is creative and comes up with fun games, builds awesome forts, wears Luke out and makes him laugh till he can't breath.

Last week there was not a whole lot of fun going on around here. Luke was sick, then Devin got it, then me and Matt. All week we were all so sick. It was awful. Not fun. Not pretty.

Luke mainly got over it pretty early on in the week. Devin and I had it the worst of the fam. And even though Matt wasn't 100% on Saturday, after we got slammed with a bunch of snow, he thought it would be fun to build a snow cave for him and Luke.

I'll admit it was pretty awesome.
Could he get awesomer?
Indeed.
Then, they had a picnic in their cave.
Topped with Oreo's.
Adorable.

Even though it kind of scared me (the thought of it collapsing-yikes!), it was really awesome. And unfortunately, we had this crazy thunder/lighting/rain storm all night the next night and it was gone the next day.

that's so crazy you guys are still getting snow- we've been having like 60 degree sunny weather. but, i guess next week we're supposed to get REALLY cold weather again! it almost reminds me of utah, so back & forth in the spring. you never know when the warm weather is here to stay or not :)

Awesome! I won't tell you our weather here either, but wow! That's a lot of snow! Very cool cave. Even after the "sand" incident, Steve made the boys a cave over Christmas. We mother's worry for good reason, but it doesn't matter if the dads are involved, they'll do it anyway.
