At it again, one last time.

We went to Memphis Kiddie Park one last time for the Summer. Are you sick of seeing these pictures yet?  Well we went with HSSA and as always, it was awesome. We were SO happy Matt could FINALLY come with us for once. 

 Sometimes we babysit this little cutie, Fawn. Not a fan.

Remember those heartbreaking roller coaster pics? Well here is Devin before he has any idea what is going to happen. Just look at that innocent face.

 Doesn't this just make your heart hurt a little bit? That face.

 He quickly recovered and braved up for more rides and even went on the coaster a few more times (with us!).

 After all that fun for the kids, we met up with more of our friends for one last summer concert. At this fancy mall down the road they have concerts all summer. We grabbed Chipotle for dinner and listened to the Beatles. It was so much fun. By the way, I love my friends!

Summer Fun

 These pictures were taken with my point and shoot, so they don't look all that great-sorry!

This summer has been sooo much better already, than it was last year. Only because Matt worked nights all of last summer, and it was no fun. 

It's so fun to have him around more this summer to play with us!

He even got a pool pass with us this year. We went for the first time and had lots of fun. Devin wasn't a big fan of the water. He kept making that funny, scrunched face the entire time.

Luke has inherited those mega furry Johnson brows....sorry kid.

We scored at a garage sale the other day and (finally) got me a bike! But then we had to buy helmets for me and the boys and spent more on those than my bike and bike trailer combined (another awesome garage sale find $5!). So we took off....

Neither boys were big fans of their helmets, but do you blame them?

Dev especially was not a happy camper pretty much the entire trip. He kept slouching down and his head would bend all funny. Then I road behind them and noticed Luke kept leaning on Devin, with his entire body. I kept telling him to sit up, and then we realized he was out cold. Poor Devin was screaming and completely crunched by his big brothers huge helmeted head! We could not get him to wake up. (I tell ya, that boy will sleep anywhere but his bed). Luckily, we only biked over to Shaker Lakes, not too far away.

After Luke's little snooze, Devin miraculously fell asleep while the rest of us played Speedminton and had some snacks.

We ended at the park to play.

Matt thought it would be a good idea to put them together...Luke-not very happy.

And on an exciting note: Matt "graduated" his first year of residency!!!

Yahooooo!!! 3 more years to go!

And we survived!

Seriously, his shifts are usually waaaaaaaay longer. When he takes weekend call, they are more like 27ish hour shifts. Crazy!

You're probably getting sick of these Luke-and-Devin-wrestling-on-the-rug pictures....but this is a big portion of my day...and I like to take pictures. I think I need to be more creative.

I know, it's almost always of Devin' face, but that is because Luke is the wild one that won't stay still long enough for me to get his face. And Devin is always so happy.

Our little friend

Yesterday our good friends dropped of their little Miss Aurora because Marilyn, her mama, was in labor! 

Aurora is "one of Luke's best friends." She was at our place for a while and even got to sleep over. He was so excited. She's gone to sleep at our house a few times before, but is always gone in the morning and he's always so disappointed. So it was a lot of fun to wake up and have her here to play with some more!

They play so well together and are so silly.

And Devin loves the entertainment.

We had lots of fun. And are so happy for our friends and their new baby girl Emery!

We're thankful to have so many good friends out here!
