Visiting our Northern Michiganders

First we had our super awesome visitors, then partied at Kalahari, we then drove 5 hours north to Big Rapids, Michigan to visit Doug, Katie and Paige. Last fall the boys and I visited them when they were living in Ann Arbor, but they recently moved for Doug to start optometry school. They had only lived in their new house for about a week when we got there. It was so fun to see where they were living and see their awesome grandma house-seriously, I loved it. And the cute, quiet town they live in.

We were pretty worn out from all the fun, not to mention we swam all day for 2 days and then hopped in the car, drove 5 hours and then crashed. So it was nice to just hang out and lay low.

We did go to a fun, old park and walk along the river. They also took us to an awesome buffet and we had some fun ping-pong matches...it's what the Clarks do.

 Poor Paige.

It was freezing there the 2 days we were there...so we had to borrow jackets and sweaters because we only packed summer clothes.

Notice Dev's hand in motion to grab this dragonfly....eew!

D&K thanks for hosting us last minute and for all the fun!

Thanks for the visit and the cute pictures! You guys roughed it before we had a guest room OR filtered water. We have both things up and running now. We're going to have to join you at the next Kalahari trip - it looks awesome!
