I have the best family.

This post goes out to all the Johnsons and Clarks.
(mostly the siblings, the parents are awesome too, but they've been "posted" before)
I HAVE THE BEST FAMILY!!!
(or families)
I love both of my families.
Not a lot of people can say that about BOTH families they belong to.
First of all, I have the coolest sisters EVER.
Jenny is always happy.
Mandy is so artistic.
Susie is sweet and petite.
Angi is THE BEST hair stylist ever.
Holly is CRAZY!
(but so funny)
As for my Bro's they are pretty cool too.
Chris is a daredevil and way smart.
Matt is extremely talented.
(I'm telling you this man can cook, clean, sew, do computures, build things, fix things, EVERYTHING)
Brandon is the man!
Steve is....well...HILARIOUS!!!
Bryce is tough.
Emily is always thinking of someone else.
Rachel is fun to talk to.
Matt is the BEST husband EVER!!!
Dave is nice to everyone.
Doug is the funniest person I think I've ever met.
Cameron is my age.
Sarah is good at everything she learns.
Adrienne is a really good babysitter.
Doug M. is intelligent, but doesn't make you feel dumb
(even when you are).
Charlie is loud, but so funny.
And Meg is so stylin.
And Congrats to all my prego sisters, I won't meet your babies till probably next summer.
(Emily, Angi & Meg)
Oh and the millions of grandkids are pretty awesome and super cute too!!
(Julia, Spencer, Madisen, Sawyer, baby boy, McKay, baby girl, Kenna, Bradyn, Kasidy, Kambree, Talon, Lexi, Mitch, Ella, Nick, Karlee, Mason, Brynlee, Kegan, baby girl, Jonah, Lydia, Burkley, Jakson and of course my adorable son Luke!)

Catch up....

It's been a while since I've last posted and it's because we've been pretty busy!
Conference weekend was wonderful! Fortunately we can watch it online from home. We watched three sessions from home and watch Sunday afternoon at our friends house. It was such a nice and relaxing weekend. During the first session Matt wanted to make some more banana bread (in addition for four loafs I made earlier that week, that we gave away...we had about 20 frozen bananas). I came in and this is what he was using to mix it...he didn't want to make any noise. He's so funny!
Luke wasn't so sure about the speakers.
He started making this face recently.
Some times he looks concerned, confused
or just a little mad. It makes us laugh
whenever he makes it.

Finally when we showed him the children's choir
he decided he really liked them.

Later on in the week we babysat a friend the other day, she was a good little baby. At first Luke wasn't too sure about her.
Julie is 5ish months and after carrying around two babies on both hips and running back and forth between too tried, crying babies I decided I never want twins! But it was still lots of fun!!

Other updates:

We've recently had a picky eater who is getting his fourth tooth and is not very happy about it. He likes to squeal and yelp all day long, he's really discovering his voice these days. He's also starting to try and get away with only one nap a day...I'm not sure how I feel about that one!

Matt has been busy working on his research. He starts his rotations again in November, so I'll be husband less once again. He is also picking up yet another research project while he is in clinics. He is very determined and a very busy boy! He's been "off" of school and rotations since July, working on a research project and it has been so much fun having him around. I'll miss you Matt!!!

As for me, I have come to the realization that we only have ONE and A HALF years LEFT!!! Matt applys for residencies next summer, it will be here before we know it! I have been extremely swamped with writing essays and taking tests! Which is why I haven't been regularly posting (I've missed you Blogland). Today I was able to make a trip out to the Cannery and picked up a few things to get a good start on our food storage. My friend Marilyn on the other hand got 1/3rd of a year's supply for her and her husband! Wooo go Mar!

My Review of Graco Ipo Stroller in Latte

Originally submitted at Toys R Us

With a 3-dimensional, one-hand compact fold for maximum portability, this Graco Ipo Stroller in Latte print features an adjustable leg rest, as well as a multiple-positioning, reclining seat for your child's comfort.

BEST STROLLER EVER!!!!

By citymom from Cleveland, OH on 10/2/2008

5out of 5

Pros: Easy to Set Up, Durable, Easily Stowed, Comfortable, Easy To Maneuver, Smooth Ride

Best Uses: Toddlers, Infants

Describe Yourself: First Time Parent

This stroller is the best! I am so in love with it. I'm tempted to buy another one for my next kids, in case this one gets over used and they stop selling it. I originally had a different Graco Metro-Lite stroller. I live on the 2nd floor and had to carry it up and down the stairs everyday, plus my infant and it was a pain. I wanted some type of umbrella stroller for summer vacations. We ended up getting this one and selling our other one. Ilove everything about this stroller. It's compact, a little heavy (but better than others), it has a good sized basket, a foot rest, easily reclines to laying position, a great visor, very durable, comfortable handles and they are at a good height. I would recommend this stroller to everyone!!! Great for any occasion!

Nothing beats this...

On a cold day.

I would have a nice hot cup of cocoa and warm buttered toast every morning if I could.

This morning it was in the low 50's and my favorite toast and cocoa was calling my name....mmmmm....

We need some ideas....Please ANYTHING!

This is our ugly fireplace. It does not work, it just sits there.
It is dangerous and Luke is always wanting to pull on the heavy rack,
which by the way is basically just leaning up against the wall.
Right now we just have to push our coffee table up against it to cover it up
so Luke can't get to it.
When Matt came home from the hospital today I was way excited because we were going to clean it out really well and take that ugly thing out and make a little place for all of Luke's toys and so he could climb in and out of it safely.
Well we pulled it apart and THAT ugly thing is connected to a gas pipe that is sticking up out of the ground. So...we have to get a new idea. We've thought of just boarding it up...but doing something on the outside so it still looks nice, since it is in our living room.

Any help would be very much appreciated!!
