Luke's Baptism!!!

I still can't believe Luke is old enough to be baptized!
Or that I'm old even to have a kid being baptized!

Luke's baptism was a beautiful day.
He had a lot of family and friends on his special day.
He was so excited, but a little nervous too.
Matt was able to baptize him.
Luke's silly little feet, floated up during his baptism, so he had to get "re-dunked."
The witnesses were his two righteous grandpa's.
Aunt Sarah played the piano and Aunt Adrienne lead the music.
Grandma Clark gave a great talk as well!
And Grandpa Johnson gave the closing prayer.
Luke was confirmed by his dad, who gave him a beautiful blessing.

Afterwards we gathered at our house for dessert!

We're SO proud of our little Lukey, and his choice to get baptized!

Johnson Halloween Party 2015

As always, the annual Johnson Halloween was a huge hit!
We love our family and the fun parties we have!

We had a yummy soup'n roll dinner with a few spooky desserts,
some crafts for the kids, bingo, a costume and
pumpkin carving/painting/decorating
contest and a jolly good time.
 The Biglers and (Matt) Johnsons.
This year Matt wanted to be a mad scientist. I bought him this wig and
it came with the glasses (I'm thinking Napoleon Dynamite). He had an
old white coat and junky tie he decided to burn up. :)
He's such a good sport. He's the best.
We had a Luke Skywalker, a bat and a super hero too.
We told our kids if they found/made their own costumes we'd pay them
$5.00. Luke surprised us and actually did it! He borrowed the robe for his
costume from his piano teacher.

I never used to be a big fan of Halloween until the last couple years.
I sorta love it. I've always wanted a good witch outfit that I could wear year
after year if I want to. :)

The Mad Scientist was also on call that night...haha. Good
thing he didn't have to rush into the hospital looking like that!

 (Chris) Johnson and Lofgran Families.
I had so much fun making pumpkin spice, cream cheese, brain cupcakes!!
And I must say there were some pretty AWESOME pumpkins!

The costume winners for the night!
Oh and baby "Mermaid" Raegan won too! :)
 My pumpkin won "Cutest Pumpkin,"
Luke "Most Artistic"
and Devin's....well, I can't remember. But it was a cute bat!
Just like his costume.
And all the other pumpkin winners/participants.

Thanks for another awesome party!!!
Happy Halloween!!!

Happy 5th Birthday Devin!!!

Devin turned 5 yesterday!!!
I still can't believe it!

He had a fun day.
Breakfast consisted of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with chocolate milk on the side.
We played wii games together.
Played some board games.
One gift he got was clay. We sculptured clay (such a mess!).

Dev made his hair "so crazy like shark boy" per one of his birthday requests!
We met daddy and aunt Sarah for lunch at Los Hermanos.
They sang happy birthday to him and I thought he was going to cry!
They're so loud and they crept up on him. It was pretty funny.
Sarah came back home with us and she played more games with him.
We made homemade (might I add, delicious!) pizza.
They boys made their own.
Then I was sorta feeling bad because I didn't feel like throwing a big
friend party this year...but the best thing happened.
When it was time to cut the cake we called our neighbors over.
They came, had cake, opened some more presents,
played one round of a game and sent them home.
And EVERYONE was happy!
And it was super easy! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big boy Devin!
