We're back!

Don't worry, we're still alive.

We got back from our trip to Utah.
Matt has been back for a week & Luke & I got back yesterday. We had so much fun & it was so nice to see a lot of our family. I have several pictures to come!We are so busy the next few weeks, so I will do my best to keep updating.
What's keeping us so busy you ask?
-Matt is starting his Neonatal 4 week rotation.
-I started my two online college classes (an Art one & Gov & Politics one)
-I just got my Adobe Photoshop CS4 program...with A LOT to learn about it.
-We're trying to enjoy the last days of summer.
-Unpacking & getting things back in order.
-Gotta get back into the swing of things, most importantly Luke's sleeping schedule!!! :)

Slacking

I have been a bit of a slacker at blogging these days.
We have been enjoying this fabulous, cool summer & have been too busy for blogging I guess.
Today was probably one of the first days it got in the 90's & we're already over a week into August.

I decided to pursue my interest for photography & just ordered Adobe Photoshop CS4, which is one reason I haven't been blogging. I wanted to save all my cute pictures to edit & do cool things to when I get my program next week! I have some great pictures to come.

No one likes a blog post without pictures so here a few.
This is one way we've spent our warm summer days.In our little $10 pool, the neighbors sprinkler & our free, tree-lawn slide.
And it's been a hit.

One more thing, I'm going on a blogging vacation as we journey home this week to attend Matt's Grandma Clark's funeral. It is a sad occasion, but she is in a much better place now. We are looking forward to being with our wonderful families.

I LOVE weddings.

I don't know what it is, but when it comes to weddings, I get all giddy & excited inside.
I love planning weddings (or just my one & helping with others). I love going to weddings. I love looking at wedding/bridal photos. I love being in weddings. I love the food, the dress, the flowers, the chair covers (weird, I know)...pretty much EVEYRTHING about weddings.

Well, one of my very best friends is getting married in two a half weeks & I wish SO BADLY that I could be there. We've been best friends since 4th grade. We have four other "best friends" (I sound like I'm in high school) that are apart of our "groupie," and all of us go back 10+ years as best buds. We have so many great memories together, we all stuck together through thick & thin. They are all my girls. Four of the six of us are married & I was the first, so I was only able to be to one other wedding & I missed two. It's really hard being away at times like these.

A little jig

We finally are able to get some videos of Luke.
We bought a tripod at a garage sale last weekend & if we set it up he'll still perform. Usually he freaks out & wants the camera.

This boy is FULL of ENERGY!!!!
Sunday we were playing on the piano & with the guitar & Luke broke out into his little jig he is always doing. He was so sweaty, because he was dancing for like 20 minutes straight.
He is so funny.
