Luke learned about "Merica" day, yesterday.
Even though, we weren't able to take our 3 day trip to D.C. Matt was off and didn't get called in, and we still had a lot of fun just being together.
Over the weekend we:
caught up on some 24 (we are pathetically addicted)
Matt built 3 large racks/shelves for our basement with left over wood from our fence
ate at Mr. Brisket (and never going back)
vegged at the pool
sparklers
worked in our beautiful, little, growing garden
shopped a bit
napped here and there
slept in
stayed up late
visited friends at our ward's 4th of July breakfast and bike parade
ate lots of delicious food at our friend's BBQ while the boys played with squirt guns
and caught fire flies.
I love summer.
