The end of August we took a trip home to Utah. We went to see Grandma and Grandpa Clark one last time before they left on their mission and for my family reunion at Bear Lake!
As always, the week flew by too fast and we had a fantastic time!

Here are A LOT of pics from my phone. The next post will have nice photos. :)
Excited to be home!
We had family pictures one night.
Me and my sisters with our babies!
Luke and Ollie
One night my parents took us out to PF Changs (LOVE THAT PLACE!!!).
We had a lovely time and enjoyed our favorite dessert on the planet!
While the boys stayed home with G and G Clark and snuggled during the rainstorms.
Next day, we hiked the Grotto!
Since our time is always so limited when we go home, we often do combined activities with some members from both families. Matt and I picked up Lydia and Ollie from my sisters and took them with us. So, this explains why it's Lyd and Matt's sisters, Sarah and Adrienne here. :)
A sight my kids have never seen....cows roaming in the mountains.
Ollie, Lydia, Luke, Devin and Adrienne...and Photobomb Matt.
We had a pretty cold summer in Ohio, so we were looking forward to some heat in Utah, but we must have brought the rain with us. It was pretty cool and rainy a lot of the week. But, Luke was so excited to finally see some rainbows.
Another day we went on a harder hike to Sterling Falls, up Provo canyon.
It wasn't too hard, but harder than we expected-with kids. It took a while too. I think a total of 5 hours round trip. It was a lot of fun though!
Cam, Dev, Ager and Luke (from Cam's phone).
So pretty!!!
It's so perfect up there. The water is so low and it makes it so fun for kids to safely play in.
And Grandmas too. Yes that's a bag on her head. She cracks us up!
Our time spent in Utah Valley went by too fast.
We said our good-bye's to Matt's parents and stopped at one of my best friend, Dani's, house for a quick hello before we headed up to Bear Lake.

We drove about 3-4 hrs up to Bear Lake.
And the kids were zonked out.
Ah, bliss!!!!
It had been 5 years since we had been to one of my family reunions.
We were really looking forward to it and we had such a great time!
We were sad that we had to leave early.
Karlie, Lexi, Jenny, Mandy
Babies-James, Avery, Desmond
Vacations with Daddy (or any free time really) is the best!
My nieces and nephews are getting SO BIG.
It's weird.
But I like it, because they are all cool.
My nieces loved baby James. They wanted to hold him 24/7. It was pretty nice!
They played a little frisbee and my dad built a rocket launcher-thingy. They launched rockets a bunch too and they kids thought it was awesome.
Love how blue that water is!!!
Sadly, we had to leave Bear Lake Sunday night. We spent the night at Jenny's house, while they were still up at the cabin. We had to catch an early flight the next morning.
It's always an extremely long day of travel to or from. It's exhausting.
Luckily the Detroit Airport is pretty cool.
By the 2nd flight. All the boys were passed out on the airplane before take off (including Matt) and slept all the way until after landing. We were landing!
Dev fell asleep at 4pm EST and slept until 8am the following day.
He said, " I slept on the airplane, and then on the floor (pictured) and in the car and then in my bed."
It always feels good to sleep in our own beds again!
