Most people know we moved from our lovely home in Cleveland, Ohio and made the trek
West to Utah. Matt joined a practice in Pleasant Grove and works at The American Fork and The Timpanogos Hospitals. His parents are currently serving a mission in Hong Kong and needed someone to live in their lovely home in the meantime. We looked high and low for a house to buy in the PG area, but had no luck (or maybe I'm just too picky). We decided to build a house in PG. That process is LOOONG! Actually, that would even be an understatement. It's starting to feel like a very long pregnancy or something. We should be breaking ground anytime now and then hopefully sometime between Feb-Mar we'll be in our new house (about the same time the Clark's return). We had hoped to move closer to Matt's work before now, but it has actually worked out perfectly and we feel very blessed to be able to live in the Clark's home temporarily.
And for many that have asked, or are wondering, "if life on the other side is better?" The answer is yes and no, but mostly yes.
This house is much too big for our little family (they did have 10 people living there once!)
and the yard is huge and SO MUCH FUN! Annnnd A LOT of work! :)
When people see a pic of the yard on Instagram or something they think it's ours, well it's not, but we are happily taking care of it for now.
They also have so so sooo many HUGE trees around the property. And even though they are
absolutely gorgeous, they dump leaves like nobody's business!
The whole month of October has been incredible! The temps have been in the 70s. The changing colors, with the mountains in the background are breathtaking. I couldn't resist one night when we started cleaning up leaves to snap some photos of the boys playing out back.
I sorta love these photos of them too.
Happy Fall!
