The Rest of May

So much happened in May!

Most importantly, we welcomed another little Johnson (technically Forsey) nephew into the world!
My sister Mandy had little Desmond mid-May (can't remember the day...oops!).
What a sweet little guy! That makes 2 nephews and 1 niece that were born in the past few months we have yet to meet!
A day at the Zoo...

At some point we had some overnight visitors stop through. Doug, Katie and Paige!
It's always so fun to see cousins!
Some mornings the boys wake up a tad early (especially for a tired, pregnant mama) and they can be quite independant. After a little while I came down stairs and look who had eaten cereal (which, actually I think Dad got for them as he was coming in from working through the night), were watching cartoons and eating otter pops before 8am. Nice.
One weekend was the Father and Son's campout. Luckily all my guys got to go!
And this is when I woke up....and it was AMAZING.
Matt is such a cute dad. He even took a few pictures on his phone, probably because he knew I'd appreciate it! :)

Then believe it or not, he came home and worked outside ALL DAY LONG. No joke.
Isn't he the best?
My sweet and amazingly talented sister-in-law Emily, sent me a package full of baby goodies, clothes and this gem! I treasure the sweet quilts she's made for my babies. Thank you so much Emily!!!
I absolutely LOVE the fabric and patterns too.
Metro Health Hospital is where I get to have my babies. It's where my Dr appointments are and luckily it's right up the road from the zoo. So, we would try to couple the two together as often as we could, since I have to drive 30 minutes just to get there anyway.

This day we didn't even bring a stroller. We stuck with one side of the park, took the train, had a picnic and saw a few animals. It was a perfect mini trip.

And Summer fun is HARD on a 2 year old.
This little guy has taken so many naps these days....it's a miracle.
Matt's last rotation of 3rd year was night float. Awful, dreadful, horrible night float. It comes every year and lasts 8 long weeks. This year, instead of being at Metro on labor and delivery (like he is 3 of the 4 years), he was at the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic. It was so much nicer! Most nights he got 1-5 hours of sleep. So we were able to spend more time together during the day. It really was a blessing for us all.

We could also go visit daddy, which is always fun.

The boys LOVE to see his call room more than anything. They play all over the bunk bed. They think it's the coolest place ever. Funny boys!
We were recently given about 8lbs of marbles (to add to our other 10 or so pounds!).
This kid is OBSESSED with marbles. He was in heaven. Notice all the little containers he finds around the house to sort his marbles? I'm so surprised how this never gets old for him.
One weekend we took a Saturday trip to the temple!
Our temple is in Columbus, Ohio and takes about 3 hours one way to get there.
It ends of being quite a long day, especially when we have to swap kids for sessions, but it always ends up being a great day and very worth it! :)

When we got home it was especially cold! Our house was 45 degrees! It was the last weekend in May. What?!!!
Thankfully, Grandpa Clark had just returned from a trip from Nepal and sent us these awesome beanies.
They're made of yak wool and are super warm.
Always hanging with our little buddy Jane. You could say she's our adopted little girl...or Devin's betrothed.

We've been able to do a couple little bonfires in our backyard so far this year.
And maybe you heard that they've been filming the 2nd movie of Captin America in Cleveland?
Well, he decided to stop by one night.
Another night we had a few of our good friends over for some fun too!
My pal Kassie. I think both of my boys have crushes on her.

All of my pretties. Don't I make them all look so good?!!!
Bekah, Kassie and Cathy. This was our little good-bye party for Cathy.
She's lived here even longer than we have. We miss you!!
 The Jones's.

This funny pic, of our friends trying to get out of our picture.
 Devin has these hilarious eyebrows...

While Dad was home a lot during the day, we hit up the park all the time.
We got to see the cute goslings!

 And these funny boys....

How is he going to be able to do this when he has to carry 3 boys to bed?
Memorial Day this year was so chilly!
It was like barely 60 degrees. It's usually stinking hot and humid. So it was actually quite pleasant for going to the parade that happens just down the street from our house.
We sat in our same spot, which used to be our best buds house...keeping the tradition alive Kienes!

Really, these group of people in the parade were pushing most of their pups in strollers.
It kills me! I see this all too often around Cleveland...aren't dogs suppose to be walked?
Always rolling in marbles...Notice the marker all over his leg too?
Typical 2 year old.
Matt and I had a really fun date night one night.
We drove out to Chagrin Falls in the pouring rain.
How do you like this goofy panoramic photo taken from my phone?
Then we hit up this AMAZING burger joint, FlipSide.
Cleveland has the best restaurants.
On to Summer!!!!!
