Good Riddins March.

This seems so long ago, but during those last couple weeks of March it felt like they would never end!

After we got back from Texas it was SO hard adjusting back to the cold, wintery weather. Talk about depressing! Not to mention, I babysat for an entire week right when we got back. It was for two little boys (2 yrs and 4 mos), it was snowy all week and I am pregnant, so we honestly did not leave the house from Monday until Saturday.
Cabin fever!!

Some things we did...

This pic of Dev is quite hilarious, because he was making fun of Luke. Luke seriously makes that same face and puts his hands on his hips when he is mad.
Devin says, "Mom! Look, this is Lukey's pouty face!"
I think we pulled out every toy and game we own and stayed in our pjs all week (It was also Luke's spring break, so no preschool either!).

At some point (after babysitting ended) during the cold we finally would bundle up and venture out. Though, it was really time for it to start to warm up because my coat no longer zipped over my big belly.

One Saturday we went to The Great Lakes Science Center for a family night with HSSA (we love hssa events!!!). The museum was open exclusively to our group, they had a yummy dinner and ice cream bar for dessert and it included the Imax movie. It was a lot of fun!

These are just a few pics from the night. They had this awesome mummy exhibit, with real mummies! Freaky! Luke was a scaredy pants.

Then, the Monday before Easter, we attended a special Family Home Evening at the Kirtland Temple.
We never miss these, they are always such a special treat.
At this meeting, they focused Easter and the Passover. It was a lovely night!

Then, I thought, freedom! Babysitting is over, woot-woot!
But then I got really sick. Like sick in bed all week. It was awful. I had to do breathing treatments and be pregnant and be a mom. It was rough.
But we survived. :)

These silly boys want their pics taken all day long.

This pic is horrible because it was dark, but it was so funny! We made Luke change Devin's diaper and it was HILARIOUS! Devin kept kicking Luke and Luke was trying to pin him down...oh it made us feel like grandparents, watching our kids being tormented by things we go through every day. HAHA. So notice how his diaper is almost falling off?
Gotta get Luke ready to change our new baby's diapers! ;)

A gymnastics place here has open gym for a couple hours per week. Luke really wants to "join the team" there (take a class-which isn't cheap!), so instead we go every once in awhile. It's great in the winter time!

This pic is also kind of blurry, but I just wanted to show a little of where I live.
Check out the titles of all of these books. All on the Passover. This is at our local library, literally a couple of blocks away. There are many many Jewish people in the area. I've actually read a few of these books, pretty interesting!

And the minor festivities of our Easter scavenger hunt to find the baskets from the Easter Bunny.

Afterwards we hit up the ward Easter egg hunt.

 Devin and his friend Mailee.

And then 3 BIG things happened in March.
The binki is no longer. Yay!
Devin is potty trained!! YES!!
 He loves his underwear.

And the boys now share a room.
They do pretty well. Most night they go down just fine. And most mornings they wake each other up, which stinks. But since Luke got his new roommate he stays in his bed ALL NIGHT LONG. This has never happened.

We're still in a transitional phase with their room. We're in the process of getting two matching twin beds and a new dresser, so the toddler bed is temporary. Hopefully it can all get done before baby boy arrives (he needs his crib mattress back after all!).

Oh! April is so much better than March.
Texas was definitely awesome, but otherwise, we are glad it's over!
